What You Will Find On This Blog
As I’m writing this, I’m not 100% certain what you will be finding on this blog. But I’m thinking about giving you some interesting ideas on:
- How to create successful online projects
- The psychology behind online success
- And some behind the scenes looks at previous and current projects to give you some ideas of how you can find success online
But as with any blog, I’m not making any promises here, but I will certainly do my best to provide you with massive value.
A Brief Background
Originally I started out with Engineering and Master in Engineering Management degrees, but soon realized that the business world was WAY more fun!
Then, in late 2006, after a successful career in project management and business development for various hi-tech companies, I decided to quit my job, emigrate to Australia, and start my own online business – not having a clue where to start!
In two short years, I became an international author with my books on entrepreneurship, lead generation and blogging distributed and read all over the world. My latest work, The Roadmap To Become A Blogger has been downloaded over 26,000 times now and another co-authored book has now been downloaded over 16,000 times.
Currently I focus on online video marketing and teach people how to build a ton of leads using simple tools like YouTube and blogs.

Nice one brother!
Just wanted to tell readers that Gideon’s products are great. My wife and I used Gideon’s product Become A Blogger to launch our website http://www.inspirationtheride.com. He provides great information for a great value. You get your money’s worth.
The best thing I like is his ability to put the information simply on a video. Although I took a C++ computer programming class while I was studying nuclear engineering, I had no clue how to do most of the things that Gideon shows you how to do in his videos. His free series alone can get you started. The icing on the cake is the paid how-to videos you get in the become a blogger program.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say that Gideon’s products are great and I have experience with them. I wish everyone who uses his products the best success and abundance.

Heard about you through Yaro and was wondering if you have any videos that teach how to get great quality of videos for membership site I’m working on.
I teach people how to play piano by ear and have been online for 3 years. I’m currently using screenflow and need to know how to get extra clear videos for subscribers to my membership. I want extra good quality.

Hi Gideon,
I love your work but I have a request. I was hoping that you could add favicons to your sites.
I currently have my important sites including gideonshalwick.com, becomeablogger.com/blog/, and becomeablogger.com/premium/member-forum/ setup as faviconized tabs (firefox addon) but these last three sites have no favicon so they unfortunately look identical.

Hi, I’m looking at enhancing my item advert on ebay, using a You Tube video & after reading their policies, I can only embed a video that advertises my item..& at the end of my vid, all these other ads/vids come up to click on..is there a setting or how do you stop this from showing? Kind regards, Nigel:)

When you click on the embed options for your YouTube video, there should be a check box labelel “Include related videos” – just make sure this box is unchecked before you copy the embed code for your video.

Good Morning from Auckland, just a quick question for you on wordpress, what is a good plugin to use for people to leave comments ? , via subscription or other method for your blog ! its quite confusing with so many plug ins, i did try a few but spammers got the better of me so turned it off , for a while, but then forgot which one i had used…. and so on….. look forward to some advice here for others to share also… regards Theo , have a great week
