What You Will Find On This Blog
As I’m writing this, I’m not 100% what you will be finding on this blog. But I’m thinking about giving you some interesting ideas on:
- How to create successful online projects
- The psychology behind online success
- And some behind the scenes looks at previous and current projects to give you some ideas of how you can find success online
But as with any blog, I’m not making any promises here, but I will certainly do my best to provide you with massive value.
A Brief Background
Originally I started out with Engineering and Master in Engineering Management degrees, but soon realized that the business world was WAY more fun!
Then, in late 2006, after a successful career in project management and business development for various hi-tech companies, I decided to quit my job, emigrate to Australia, and start my own online business – not having a clue where to start!
In two short years, I became an international author with my books on entrepreneurship, lead generation and blogging distributed and read all over the world. My latest work, The Roadmap To Become A Blogger has been downloaded over 26,000 times now and another co-authored book has now been downloaded over 16,000 times.
Currently I focus on online video marketing and teach people how to build a ton of leads using simple tools like YouTube and blogs.

There were a number of other projects that I got inolved with as well, but they were either too insignificant, or they are not online anymore. But I can say one thing… with every new project, I’ve learned a lot of new things, which has ultimately helped me become successful online.

Just wanted to tell readers that Gideon’s products are great. My wife and I used Gideon’s product Become A Blogger to launch our website http://www.inspirationtheride.com. He provides great information for a great value. You get your money’s worth.
The best thing I like is his ability to put the information simply on a video. Although I took a C++ computer programming class while I was studying nuclear engineering, I had no clue how to do most of the things that Gideon shows you how to do in his videos. His free series alone can get you started. The icing on the cake is the paid how-to videos you get in the become a blogger program.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say that Gideon’s products are great and I have experience with them. I wish everyone who uses his products the best success and abundance.

I’m quite new to the game of “navigating around the Internet” though I have been a writer for forty years. (Other interests are public speaking, oral storytelling and serious meditation)

Tell me, Gideon – are you into presenting to groups -I’m talking of face-to-face- running workshops, that sort of thing? And you say you’re quite new in Australia. (I’m came out from England as a fourteen-year-old in 1951) What city do you live in here in Aussie?

Heard about you through Yaro and was wondering if you have any videos that teach how to get great quality of videos for membership site I’m working on.
I teach people how to play piano by ear and have been online for 3 years. I’m currently using screenflow and need to know how to get extra clear videos for subscribers to my membership. I want extra good quality.
Any suggestions?

I went through some of your video’s last night and found them to have some BRILLIANT content. Very good timing for me too and I am launching a informaiton product through mobile and internet technology in the next few weeks and also have a e-book on the go at the moment too.

Hi Gideon,
I love your work but I have a request. I was hoping that you could add favicons to your sites.
I currently have my important sites including gideonshalwick.com, becomeablogger.com/blog/, and becomeablogger.com/premium/member-forum/ setup as faviconized tabs (firefox addon) but these last three sites have no favicon so they unfortunately look identical.
