I have found this method to be the most powerful method for creating friends and activity back to any of my stuff online. I didn’t know that by writing comments on others channels created link juice. Just learned something new!

Thanks Gideon.

Hey Josh

The channel link juice is what I heard through the grapevine…

It’s kinda hard knowing these things 100% for sure, but from the tests that Julie Perry and Paul Colligen did, it seems to indicate that leaving comments on other people’s channel’s create some “link juice” back to your own channel.

If nothing else, at least it’s a nice way of getting people back to your blog.

All the best!

Hey Gideon,

Just wanted to thankyou for responding to my question – that was exactly what I wanted to know. I found most helpful the idea of leaving comments. I can see how the links are best found from the results of true social interaction within the YouTube community, rather than trying to create links just for the sake of creating more links.

Would you also recommend using video comments as well?

I’m going to implement your advice and I shall let you know the results for my challenge over the next year!

Many thanks,

Hey Joel

Oh yeah! Video comments would also help you big time because that would put a face to your comments and increase the chances of people visiting your site. And of course, you can have a much more tailored and helpful message with video.

Great idea!

And yes, please share your results with us. Would be great to hear your progress here!
