  1. A nice little snap-shot Gideon of your path to date. I’m looking forward to you expanding more on the four step formula. :)

  2. Hey Gideon,

Thank you for answering my question. I guess it’s just hard picking one idea and focusing soley on that. But I am at the point right now where I have feel like I have all of these great ideas (literally notebooks full), but I just dont know where to go from there. Should i just pick one and commit to making it successful?

Also, I have a passion for internet marketing. PPC is my #1 choice when it comes to internet marketing because I dont have the money for a website. Now, I havent made any money; actually I have lost close to $500. I feel like i’ve learned things about PPC marketing that are far more valuable than $500. Call me crazy. But its addicitng. Do you have any tips?

I’m sure i’ll have lots more questions for you : ) Next time i’m going to make a video response or post a video question. Thanks again.

  3. Hey Taner,

I totally agree with Gideon about focusing on one thing. You may not see success in the early stages and it may look that you are spending more in time and resources, though the end results is all due to preparation and the focus you put in.

I’m a little like what Gideon has said – I started with many things, though I realise it takes twice or three times longer to get things done.

Furthermore I found I got busy but not productive.

Sometimes it’s just taking a leap of faith and just focus on that one thing e.g. PPC in your case.

Good luck and love to hear your story!

  4. Hi Gideon! I am so glad you started this blog. I’ll be a regular reader for sure. I really loved the Become A Blogger Premium program. Since I’ve been thinking of getting into this online video thing, I hope I will learn a lot from you.

One more thing. I tried to opt-in for your upcoming Success Report, but after hitting the ‘Add me’ button I got a 404, page not found error. Could you please look into this?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

    • Gideon Shalwick

      Hey Zsolt

I have now fixed the optin process and it all should work fine now.

      Thanks for letting me know!

  5. I just had to add my two cents. What Gideon (and Tyrone) said is 100% true. A jack of all trades is a master at none. It’s easy to think that if you do a bunch of things that can make you a little money here and there that you will be successful. However, all that ends up happening is you burn yourself out.

I’m just like they said. It’s easy for me to try to do a whole bunch of different things and it has taken A LOT of energy for me to focus in on one thing at a time. But when I did that, I started being successful.

My recommendation would be to find something you are passionate about and give it your all. If PPC is your number 1 choice, become a Master of PPC :)

    All the best!

  6. Hi Gideon

Just discovered this new blog of yours. I am following your Become a Blogger program at the moment so this will be great extra material for me. One question: how do you intend to monetize this blog? Will you be running courses/selling affiliate products? And do you recommend NOT having any monetization on a brand new blog but introducing it as you start to build a following?

    • Gideon Shalwick

      Hey Carole

At the moment I’m just kinda doing this blog for fun and for relationship building and “testing the waters”. But once it takes off, I will likely monetize it yes. As you can see on the top right hand side, I am already starting to build my email list for this blog – that will set me up for all sorts of income streams a bit later on.

But for now, my emphasis is just on providing lots of valuable content and getting to know my audience.

      Talk soon!

  7. I really enjoy the blog, it provide great content. I’m new to this blogging stuff and I am just learning about trackbacks, I didn’t see a trackback URL? did I miss something.

    • Gideon Shalwick

      Just approved it now Matt!

      Thanks for the link love!

  8. Ya, this was a great little run down of how you got to where you are today, I love it. It makes me see how “feasable” this really is for me as I continue through my journey.

I love you blog Gideon, looking forward to more great content!

I also think it would be nice for you to maybe share some of your failures, roadblocks, or challenges along the way perhaps so we don’t end up making the same mistakes. One thing that I do really agree with though is staying focused on one thing until you’re successful at it. FOCUS = Follow One Course Until Successful

    • Gideon Shalwick

      Oh yeah focus is HUGE!

I really need to create another video with an update of my history as an entrepreneur – a lot has changed since I created the video on this post!

      Talk soon Ajoke!

  9. Valeriy

    Hi Gideon!
By sending this message to you I just wanna let you know that there are people in Russia who watch your vedio posts and have found them very useful and inspiring. Thanks for that and, please, keep doing this.
Your advices are kind of universal, so wherever one lives one can implement them for success. Russia is not an exception. Although we, Russians are several steps behind the West in this particular area, I mean internet markerting, info products etc., we are good students anyway, plus, we have a great help from websites like yours.
    Thanks one more time!

    • Gideon Shalwick

      You’re very welcome Valeriy!

What kind of business are you into? You have a website?

      • Valeriy

Several months ago I finished working for one firm as a web and graphic designer, and now I’m on the road to my own business… my family business, to be precise. Of course there will be a website, a product (weight loss ๐Ÿ˜‰ and, I hope, many vedios with my wife talking about this topic. She knows a lot about it.
Anyway, back to your project. I think that it’s your personality and manner to explain things make your blog so popular. You look very friendly and confident. Information is information but friendliness and confidence add very much to all this.
Sorry for poor English, it’s not my mother tongue…

        • Gideon Shalwick

          Hey Valeriy

          Your English is GREAT!

(Especially when you use it to compliment me hehehe!)

All the best with the new business!
