How To Optimise Your Blog For Search Engines – Full Series

I’ve just finished uploading all the videos for the interview I had with David Jenyns about how to optimize your blog for search engines.

It was one of the clearest and most useful explanations of SEO I’ve had in my internet marketing career.

I’ve never really paid all that much attention to SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for my blogs, but after my interview with David, my eyes got opened somewhat and I have now been implementing most of what he taught me.

Below are all 7 videos so that you can easily watch them all in one go…

  1. Gideon and Dave, you’ve just fried my brain! Really impressive stuff.

One question, how important is it to use the Thesis theme for wordpress vs another theme with the All-in-one-SEO plugin? Or should you use Thesis + AINOSEO plugin for best results?

    Love your work

      Hey Nick!

Great to see you on here too!

I’m pretty sure the All In One SEO plugin would do a great job – but of course with the Thesis theme, you get lots of other benefits as well, some of which you wont even know about unless you really start digging into the code.

I would still recommend Thesis, because so far, it’s the theme that I’ve had best results with.

      All the best!

  2. Hi Gideon, great stuff here. I appreciate that you broke up the videos into digestible little chunks. I hate having to run away from a session and come back distracted. Also thanks for reiterating what Dave says when he gets into the technical details of the training. Will be putting up what I learn soon on my blog. Thanks again and here’s looking forward to more great videos!

    Gideon,

Great stuff. I am taking this all in before having even started. I strongly suspect that such tactical knowledge will yield greatly increased results for our venture through increased ‘visibility’ via strategic selective implementation of SEO factors. Assuming we accurately identify and target our market, prepared to delight our customers with quality information and prospective products and services, the exposure gained through such knowledgable application of SEO should yield traffic that ‘sticks.’

    As always, thanks for sharing.
