I like how you present your videos in small bite sized chunks to convey a simple and clear message across.
In regards to what I learned:
My strengths are:
1. Ability to communicate via video or audio
2. Creating and organising ideas
3. Building relationships with people
After you mentioned the Hedgehog Concept to me last week I think (again – sometimes I’m a little thick-headed), I finally went and created mine. I tried it before but ended up running in circles.
This time I think I nailed it, the result will become evident soon in the form of a web site. I’m sure it will be no surprise to you.
Great, short and straight to the point. It’s really easy to think that if you can just do everything, you can make a little bit of money from a bunch of things and that will add up to a bunch of money.
Since I’ve started to focus in on one thing at a time, that has tremendously increased my success. Looking forward to the other videos in the series.
ps. I see you are really loving Screenr as you mentioned in the teleconference
Hi Gideon,
I love this concept, thank you for reducing it into a nutshell! One day I’ll read the book but at the moment my time is stretched so a summary like this is very very helpful. Thank you.
Good To Great is an excellent book and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
But yeah, sometimes it’s nice to have just quick summaries of the essence of a book.
Also make sure you check part 3 of this series – the video on the Beach Head Strategy – from another amazing book called Crossing The Chasm by Geoffrey Moore – an absolute classic!

Great video, made a lot of sense and puts into word/audio/video loose concepts that I was aware of. Excellent work.
Disappointed you missed some opportunity for some puns though – a “prickly subject” or “spikes in traffic”…. Hmm, perhaps I need some sleep!
lol!
Yeah I should have thought about that – darn – missed opportunity!
Oh well – next time
Gideon

Yeah screenr.com ROCKS!
Instead it taking my 2-3 hrs per 5 minute video, it now takes me 10-15 minutes!
Nice time saver!
