Hi, Gideon Shalwick here! I have a very very cool announcement to make for you. It’s about something that I’ve been working on for quite some time now and I want to share it with you now. It’s about ready for you to go and have a look at.
What is it?
Well, it’s something that will automatically help you with your YouTube efforts. If you’re a regular video blogger, this is something that you’ll just totally going to love. Don’t worry, it’s free. The stuff that I’ll be sharing with you now, you will be able to get access for free. Another information — it’s something cooler than that.
Basically, what I’ve done is, I’ve created some set of very special video clips that you can download that allows you to automatically get more subscribers, get more likes, get more comments, get more social media sharing, get more of your videos embedded and get more clicks on the links inside your description area.
There might be some more, but those are the sort of basic things. The kind of stuff that you want to see happening for your videos on YouTube. These are not your average little video clips that I want to give you access to. These are very special video clips that’s been tested. There are some very clever things inside of them, some clever psychology. In fact, I call them “psycho CTAs” or psychological calls to action.
Psychologically infused calls to action (you could call it that as well) or Psycho CTAs, for short — basically what it does, it’s a little video clip that you can put at the end of your videos that calls your viewers to take specific kind of action.
What is it called?
It’s called Splasheo. It’s a new business that I’m working on. You could go there right now to go and download those little video clips that you can just add at the end of your videos on YouTube.
I’ve been using it on my own channel for quite some time; you might have seen some variants of them. I’ve been getting amazing results. In fact, when you go to the Splasheo page, you’ll see some of the results that I’ve been getting. It’s blown me away! I was actually really surprised by the results.

Re: your new blog design, it looks very clean and professional. I would probably customize a little more with unique design elements, perhaps your little TV icon in the sidebar H2 headings, and in the footer, just to differentiate it a little more from others who use the same Canvas theme. And fix the threaded comments

Hey Luke – I actually got it custom made through Splasheo.com-The editor there uses after effects too. There are many template options around, but none of them really gives a professional result like the custom ones imho

Hi Gideon. I think that most of the free video clips are too informal to be put on my YouTube videos. Thanks for the opportunity though. In my experience asking for feedback in videos never really increased feedback by more than 10%.

Hello Gideon, I also am having trouble. The confirmation was rather slow but when I tried clicking on the links in the confirm, I am taken to your website. I clicked on the download link under your vid and after entering my info again it tells me to wait for a confirmation. I tried to sign into another link on the bottom (like a tab) and it told me I was already subed and I received nothing. I will cut and paste this and send to the support you listed.
Did you send out an email titled: Boost your YouTube channel with these clever clips? I thought this was the confirmation, but maybe it is not. I will give it some time so that the support people can assist me.

Disclaimer: I am a long time member of “Become A Blogger” so I understand your business model (i.e. something free for your email).
With that being said I want to say that I am pretty well worn thin with anything “free” that requires an email opt in. An email for free stuff is not free, but instead cost an email. As all of us Internet marketers know an email can be worth a lot of money but the honest thing to say is “free stuff for your email,” don’t you think?

yeah that’s a good point DJ Creaky! It does often “cost” an email. I know of other models where people do a “reverse squeeze” – which basically means you get to receive something before you are required to provide your email. I may even experiment with that a little with Splasheo. So thanks for reminding me

You should be ok because we use royalty free music, and we are giving people the rights to use the clips for themselves. We might put together a short “licence” or something that people can use for their monetized videos… we’ll get started on it!

I used one of the splasheo outros and You Tube refused to monetize my video.
I really love the idea behind this, and would love to use these for my real estate business. However, I feel that the kittens (although I LOVE LOVE LOVE kittens and puppies) would not sit well with my sellers. If you had similar outros without the kitten/puppies and geared it towards a more professional stand point I would use these in a heart beat. I feel like the “get lucky” portion of one of the videos would be looked at as unprofessional in this line of work. Keep it up and keep them coming!

Weren’t you the one betting not long ago in quality content for the videos as a sure way to success here in YouTube, Gideon? I didn’t agree with you back then and I doubt now that begging the audience for interaction is delivering “quality content” in any video. Interaction can be sought, challenged, suggested… within the very content of the video and without the help of cute puppies.

I have a question.
If I already have a website and want a you tube channel, Do I have to come up with another domain name?
I want to embed the videos on my website as well.
no you don’t, you just create a profile on youtube, vimeo, etc. then at the bottom of each video you upload to those sites, you will see an “embed” link, click that link and it will give you embed code to put into your website.
It doesn’t increase video views per se…am I right? What it does is increasing the chance of optins, links, etc. after viewers have watched a video..
yeah it’s not an automatic view increaser type of thing – it’s more creating more opportunities for getting more views (and likes and comments etc). I am against any kind of artificial (fake) views, and have warned people against that many times now…

There are a bunch of free clips you get when you sign up. And then for anything custom, there is a small fee. But the custom stuff is totally optional of course…

They are not free -.-
there are 13 at the moment that are free with no cost whatsoever. Once you log into the members area, you’ll see download pages for all of them. Of course there are further options to create your own customized intros and outros and other clips. But that is only there for people who want custom solutions.
Probably just choosing the cheapest intros or creating a lower quality intros and making them free like the outros. But the customize of the intros will probably need to be free as well.

It’s free man – look for the “Download” buttons inside the members area. There are also options for customizations, and they do have a cost. But you are able to download the free ones without any payment at all.

Did you click on the green download button inside the members area? That allows you to get the free versions without any cost at all. If you click on the customize button, there is a cost involved, but this is certainly not necessary if you only want to use the free ones.
Been fixed now. That was an issue with the software running our site. But it’s all be fixed now. So all good.

May I suggest you make the sign up funnel easier for people. It’s kind of unnecessarily tedious in my opinion.
