[..YouTube..] Gideon… which is better, the Canon T2i Rebel, or the Canon Vixia HV40 (also called Canon Legria HV40)?

This one uses HD Tapes. I got it and the videos shot are cool and of good HD level… BUT I’m having a real tough time trying to export the videos to my stupid laptop that doesn’t have a firewire port. Heard I needed a video capture card, so bought EasyCap, but the quality of the video when exported becomes very bad.

Basically, my editor uses Adobe After Effects to super impose any kinds of graphics onto the background. In this case, the background is simply one of the walls inside my house, and I used a special lens on my camera to blur the background.
